Rubinov Anatoly Nikolaevich

graduate of 1961

Faculty, specialty:Faculty of Physics

Period of study: 1956-1961

Brief biographical note:

He was born in Mogilev in the family of an engineer.

Professional activity:

His research works are related to laser physics, spectroscopy of complex organic compounds, and biophysics. When studying the properties of ruby and neodymium lasers, the phenomenon of absorption of excited ruby was discovered. Theoretically justified, and later received laser radiation on organic dyes. He made a significant contribution to the development of dye lasers covering the entire visible and adjacent UV and IR spectrum. He developed the scientific basis for the non-resonant interaction of laser radiation with biological objects, and showed the possibilities of manipulating them in an interference laser field.
