
The Department of Nuclear Physics is the leading department in the Republic of Belarus, providing training for specialists in Nuclear Physics and Technology. The Department trains highly qualified specialists in Nuclear and Elementary Particle Physics, Nuclear Reactor Physics and Nuclear Electronics, Automated Process Control Systems; and inspection and monitoring at nuclear and radiation facilities. Graduates of the Department work at the Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant, in nuclear and radiation safety regulatory agencies, in organizations producing science-intensive and high-tech products, in environmental monitoring, in healthcare institutions, in research and design institutes, and in educational institutions.
