
The Department of Physical Optics and Applied Informatics is the leading department providing training for specialists in Physical Optics and Informatics, studying the structure of compounds and their relationships with physicochemical properties, and conducting research to create electro-optical and spectral instruments and systems. The Department trains highly qualified specialists for research institutions, high-tech industries, and educational institutions in a range of scientific fields, including Molecular Spectroscopy, Photonics, Liquid Crystal Physics, Scientific Instrumentation, Information Display Systems, and the development of instruments and systems for remote sensing of natural features from space.
